As part of the Compliance system it is possible to setup Stages against each compliance item. This lets users record what stage an item is at, and is useful for compliance items where it is necessary to apply to an external body to obtain certificate or such like, and the application process may take several weeks.
Example of staged Compliance Setup
In the example below you can see an example of some stages which have been setup.
For each stage users can specify if notes are required.
The options are:
No Notes |
the 'Notes' icon is not visible of the compliance item. |
Optional Notes |
the 'Notes' icon is visible and users may choose to make notes if they wish. |
Mandatory Notes |
the 'Notes' icon is visible and users must record notes before they are allowed to tick the item as complete. |
Confirm on Place |
this will add the item to the Placement Questions which can be set to "pop-up" when a candidate is placed. |
(For more information about these pop-up questions which can be set using the 'ASK PLACE' parameter set, click HERE.) |
Complete at stage
It is possible to say at which stage an item becomes complete. It will not be possible to tick a compliance item as complete until it has reached at least that stage (or higher). If set as 0 then the 'Last' stage listed is the one which is treated as being the one which means complete.
It is not necessary to use stages unless you specifically need this functionality.
If no stages are defined then the system will treat the compliance item as normal.
