The Selectable Rates feature within Influence allows you to create a large number of different possible rates and then specify on a client-by-client basis which of these rates are required.

Overview
Within a client record, the [Rates] tab can be used to select which of the available rates are required for this client.
Having specified which rates are needed for this particular client, it is then possible to add these rates to the Rate Cards for each role.
Finally, if using the Timed Rates facility you can specify which times apply to each of these rates. (You can find out more about Timed Rates using the link HERE)
Adding Additional Rates
The additional rates can be added in the following way
- Login as ADM (or a high priority level user)
- Go to Maintenance > Setup > Code Tables. Select the system area as C - Contact Management then choose code table Rates [217] (Sometime called Tempaid Job Codes)
In here you can add a CODE and a Description for any selectable rates you wish to create. Once the rates have been created they can be assigned to clients as required.
Activating Selectable Rates
The selectable rates feature is not turned on by default and needs to be activated by a parameter.
If you would like to activate this feature please call us to discuss any changes needed.
EXAMPLE: Using Selectable Rates (Booking Entry)
Step 1: On the [Rates] tab of a client record, setup all of the 'selectable rates' that mey be needed/required for that client.
After adding these rates, click [Apply]
Next, add a RATE card for a particualr ROLE. Any of the selectable rate for that client may now be used in building the rate card. See below
Step 2: When making a booking, having chosen a role, the system will pull through the detail for the rates applicable.
| NOTE: System parameter PAYROLLB, FLAG(51) controls how the selectable rates get pulled through into booking entry screen. The settings are explained below. C - Only the selectable rates from the relevant rate card on the client are pulled through to Booking Entry Automatically. Y - All selectable rates from the client are pulled through to Booking Entry automatically. N - None of the selectable rates are pulled through to booking entry, and the user can choose them when they make the booking. |
