How to Send a candidate CV to several contacts

Created by Martin Parkinson, Modified on Thu, 6 Jul, 2023 at 11:47 AM by Martin Parkinson

Step 1

Find the candidate you wish to send, select the [Docs] tab, and then place a tick in the Attach column next to their “Safe CV”

 Step 2

Next select the Company & Contacts Search button at the left of the workbench, and choose the Contacts option when the search screen appears.

Step 3

  • Construct your contact search using any of the criteria on screen to help you find the right type of contacts. e.g.  Role = FD,  Importance = Decision Maker  and Bus.Type = Retail
  • Click Search. The system may take a while to find your contacts – be patient. When the search has returned some results use the [P All] button to tick all the records.
  • Use the Description box to give the search a name, e.g. “FD Decision Makers”
  • Click the Macro button at the top of the screen (looks like a small cog)

Step 4

  • Choose type = OSCV
  • Choose a Template, usually  ‘OnSpc CV Send’
  • Click the [Apply] Template Button
  • Click the paperclip at the top of the screen to attach items.

 Step 5

When the Attachment manager screen appears, click the paperclip at the top of the column twice. The first time selects all items, the second time clears all items.

Then place a TICK next to the SAFE CV document of the candidate you wanted to send, then click [OK].

Step 6

Finally, click the DONE column next to one of the contacts and TEST the email to make sure it looks OK in MS Outlook. If it does, send that email, then tick the Batch Mode and then [OK] to send all the rest.

NOTE !! Once you have ticked batch mode then it OK, you cannot stop the emails – they will all go one after the other !
