Add a Match status Code

Created by Martin Parkinson, Modified on Fri, 5 Apr at 5:55 PM by Graeme Orchard

The Influence Professional software contains various codes and tables which can be setup & controlled by the system administrator (ADM) user. The MATCH STATUS CODE (905) table is used to indicate the stage that a particular match record has reached. It is possible to setup these codes to reflect the various things that may happen.

NOTE: WE RECOMMEND THAT YOU DO NOT EDIT/AMEND THIS TABLE UNLESS YOU ARE VERY CONFIDENT AND KNOW EXACTLY WHAT ARE DOING. IF YOU ARE AT ALL UNSURE, PLEASE CALL AND SPEAK TO US SO WE CAN HELP.

Please do not delete items from this table - If you no longer need an item, please prefix the description with <HIDE>
This will then hide the item from view and prevents it getting re-added the next time an update is loaded.

How to Add/Amend Match Status codes

  1. Login as the ADM User and select Maintenance > Setup > Codes Tables.
  2. Select the Match Status Codes (905) table, and add new codes to the list. Then tick the Extra Info [  ] checkbox.

There are several columns in the table, each of which are described below.

Colours You must set a colour for the code otherwise it will not appear in the list of status codes presented to the user as choices. (Similar to putting  before the description.)
OrderThis controls the hierarchy for the codes. The ‘best’ status (usually 'Placed') should have the lowest number, followed by other codes in order.  e.g. Placed [10] > Offered [20] >3rd Interview [30] > 2nd Interview [40] > 1stInterview [50], etc etc.
Tip: Imagine a race - the "winner" is number 1, 2 is second best, 3 is third, etc. The lower the number the "better" the position.
Hide on shortlistWhen viewing the [Match] tab on a vacancy any statuses with a 1.00 in this column will be ‘Hidden’ by default, but can be seen if you tick the “Show hidden items” option. Typically you would
.g. Rejected from Shortlist, Found own Job, No Longer Interested, etc.
Excel ColourWhen using the headhunt/Assignment process it is possible to export Longlist/Shortlist into MS Excel. This was used to control the colour of records on excel sheets…. But NO LONGER WORKS in current version of MS Excel.
HH OrderWhen using the Headhunt/Assignment module it controls the ‘Hierachy’ for these codes in the same way as “Order” does. It is usually best to set these the same as the Order column.
Place DetailsInsert 1.00 into this column if the system should display the Placement Details page if this status is selected. Normally it is only the status of PLA which is set this way.
HH ShortlistThis is used if you are using the Headhunt/Assignments module. Any status codes with a 1.00 in this column will be exported when you choose to export a SHORTLIST into MS Excel. If not using the Headhunt/Assignment module then you can ignore this column.
Vacancy Stat OrderWorks in the same way as the ‘Order’ column to control the hierarchy or a status for VACANCIES. If unsure you are best to set this to be the same as the Order column.
Stop BookingThis column is only relevant if using the TEMPS  module (Temporary workers) on older systems only. Placing a 1.00 in this column will Prevent users from creating “Bookings” (i.e. Daily work records) for any match set to this status.
Chk CompliancePlace a 1.00 in this column if the selected Match Status should check the compliance items when selected on the Match workflow.
